Obedience is Death

From  The time for obedience is over

Howard Zinn wrote, “Civil disobedience is not our problem. Our problem is civil obedience. Our problem is that people all over the world have obeyed the dictates of leaders… and millions have been killed because of this obedience… Our problem is that people are obedient all over the world in the face of poverty and starvation and stupidity, and war, and cruelty. Our problem is that people are obedient while the jails are full of petty thieves… (and) the grand thieves are running the country. That’s our problem.”

  1. Well, what can I say about this?

The other day I asked Jayne for her mail, as I’m not on facebook or twitter and don’t ever intend to be, so that I could offer her some information regarding Alfie Evans and the the perilous state of our country. She replied to me that the detail would be too much for her – a choice I respect. However, I was then in the conundrum of whether I should make this stuff available for others or not – I chose to wait and see.

Then today I read this piece. A succinct summary of what it has felt like living in Britain as a disabled person especially – we are so grateful for everything, aren’t we …. So, below I post a number of links that people can read for themselves and make up their own minds about. Two tory MPs a while ago are noted for stating that the tory plan was to have ‘years of organised chaos’ in this country (can’t remember their names, sorry) in order to create a society where evrybody does as they are told – please note this did not include them – so they can still illegally bomb countries without evidence, stop people from voting by spurious ID means and behave as if they ae accountable to no one – they are ‘born to rule’ obviously.

I will continue to stand my ground, as I have done for a very long time now, despite the effort and stress involved because ‘I think I’m worth it’ and I don’t care what tories think ( which is an oxymoron in my house)

As an independent sovereign population we should all be bloody angry about this and start doing something about it all.

  2. civil obedience? I will never conform to their ways if I know I am entitled to a benefit I let them know and expect to be paid it. Long gone are the days of being told I will do something because that’s the way it is. I believe the DWP changed the ESA72 because I threatened to take them to court about the wording. Also the reason for sanctions on missed appointments and SDP. I cause them more trouble than they will ever admit.
