WARNING: Campaigners get ready for round two:

Is LEICESTER Ready for the #FightForOurLives? I Hope so pls SHARE if you can say YES

Leicester Solidarity

Well we have only twenty days left of this disgraceful, uncaring, inept and murderous Coalition Government and the same goes for our Elected Mayor and councillors.

Now is the time for you to decide which party really deserves your vote if any. All you need to remember is that if you are not sure who to vote for then PLEASE don’t just vote willie nilly and waste your vote on someone your not sure about. If this is the case then it would appropriate for you to spoil the voting sheet, this way you are still making your choice to be registered at the count. This you should do for both the General Election and also the City Wards and the Elected Mayor vote.

I at this point have not decided who is really worthy of my vote, so come the day it looks like a spoiled voting sheet from…

  1. Hi Jayne you state you are Old Labour so am I. We have to where we can get Labour as an alternative to do otherwise would open the door for the Tories.
Even if you live in an area with no chance your vote is an indicator of support.

    • Unless you’re lucky enough to live in the NE or in John McDonnell’s constituency! These(prospective) Labour MPs are working on the inside to take Labour back to where they belong x

      • Although even in the NE there seems to be an appreciable move away from Labour – talking about ex-Old labour activists and councillors rather than voters.

Greens seem to be the biggest beneficaries, and as a result are putting up candidates in just about every NE constituency – something previously unheard of.

Also the ex-Old Labour North East Party, standing in only 4 seats, but have already started picking up local council seats and seem to be planning for the future.

I think the NE will remain largely Labour, but perhaps with reduced majorities if disillusioned Labour votes go to the Greens / NEP/TUSC. Be interesting to see what happens to the Ukip vote now that they are no longer the only alternative to the Big 3.

  2. I knew I’ve said this before but if the Tories gain another five years in office they intend to make life Hell on Earth for anyone reliant on Welfare. You have been warned!!! For God’s Sake Use Your Vote!!!

  3. TORIES ALREADY WON

    LABOUR HAS LOST FOREVER

In the coming severe hung parliament, the rules are that the sitting Tory government has to remain in power in a caretaker government.

326 MPs minimum threshold will never again be reached by either party.

Even if the Tories concede a second general election, we will only get a
Tory / Labour / Lib Dem coalition, which will be a dictatorship of austerity
with no opposition left opposite in the House of Commons’ UK parliament.

    VOTE DIFFERENT

ONLY A GROUP OF DIFFERENT PARTIES OFFERING ANTI-AUSTERITY

  4. I believe we could wind up with some sort of Labour/SNP Alliance, which may not be such a bad thing as it might, at first, appear. The SNP vehemently opposed the Tory led Welfare Reforms and could well be an opposition to any Labour idea of following the same Draconian route. But be aware theTories have already proved that they can get away with the victimisation and even the murder of the Vulnerable and, if elected again, they will have an absolute field-day! The terrible truth is, they will do this with Public Approval and complete impunity!
This Election is a turning-point in the History of the UK. A point where our Country could shed even a pretence of compassion and the British People walk ignorantly back into the days of Landowner and Peasant! Don’t just vote because of Welfare vote to save our Country!

  5. Great read! Your blog is really interesting. I thought you might like the filmed programme- ‘QuestionDine 2015: Election Candidates with chips’.
In the short video, prospective parliamentary candidates sit down for supper with young volunteers to discuss the big political ideas .From immigration, economic growth and the EU to free speech, humanitarian intervention and building homes ourselves; they put cracking questions to candidates. But, do they get answers they are looking for? You decide.
You can watch the short video here: http://www.worldbytes.org/questiondine-2015-election-candidates-with-chips/
We would be delighted to get your feedback/comments on the video and would very grateful if you would embed the video and share this programme with your friends and networks who may be interested.
    Thank you.
