DWP calls for evidence – WCA 3 Year Review

I’m sure I’m not alone in wanting to tell the DWP just what I think about the Work Capability Assessment!

Well this is the last time for our opinions to go towards a review of just that; Professor Harrington is in the process of composing his final independent report for the DWP and the target group is those of us who “have information that is relevant to how the WCA is operating and what further changes, if any, are needed to improve the process” and we have until September 7th 2012 to respond.

Benefits and Work.co.uk have produced a really easy to complete survey which asks 12 questions the DWP want responses to – http://www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/harrington2/; fill it in and you’ll receive an email with your answers completed which you then send on to Prof Harrington.

If you’ve got anything to say about your experience with a WCA, and any ways to improve the process (and I bet theres a few of those); this is a chance to make it count.
